Valhalla presents: DUB vs DNB

Valhalla presents is a student founded events organisation with the hope to host Manchester’s largest nights out. Founders of the organisation came together on the 13th of December to host their first DUB vs DNB event.

The event was hosted at Zombie shack, an intimate venue with a sound system that complimented the heavy music genres.

The two heavy genres battled it out throughout the whole night, although the event wasn’t a sell out the addition of great music turned the small venue into a giant rave within seconds.

Despite the night being led by young amateur DJs the crowd was not disappointed.  DJ Westman stood out from the others with every drop being perfectly executed with an astonishing amount of control.

The event was said to be Westman’s first ever DNB performance, although his skillfully planned out set along with his vast amount of confidence said otherwise.  Westman strategically ended his set with the well-known crowd pleaser Wilkinson’s ‘Afterglow’, making his performance unforgettable.

With the venue bouncing all night long it is undoubtedly said that Valhalla’s first event was nothing short of spectacular, leaving the crowd with strong hopes that there will be more to come from these upcoming DJs in the future.
